Thumbs down... Thumbs Up!

In the last month or so, we have been on quite the roller coaster...  We were in the process of purchasing a downtown building to remodel and begin a new business.  We were excited about it, and it sounded quite promising.  Long story short, it's not going to work out.  We are truly saddened by this news, and we're working on a new idea, so moving forward.  Some of you have talked to me about it and asked, etc., so I figured it best to just put it out there.  :)

In other news, we've been busy going to fall concerts and such at the school.  Ashley had a "Sweet Singsation" performance, and Shelby had a concert as well.  Spencer has one coming up in a little over a week(~ish), and Shelby tells me that she has another yet before Christmas.  Haley had her softball awards banquet last night, and she received an award for the loudest cheer-er.  She received a "megaphone" made out of a automotive funnel, decorated up.  She also received her Varsity Letter pin, and that was great too!  So proud of all our kids!!  (Pictures to come.)

I am participating in Community Choir at the college this semester again, and our concert is coming up on November 11th (Veteran's Day) at the Arts Center on King Street and 4th at 3pm.  It's sure to be great -- would love to have you there!

Have a great weekend, everyone!
