Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great Mother's Day weekend.  We got SOOOO much stuff done that we'd been trying to find time to do.  We did a little work in the house, then started off to spend the day on the lawn.  We mowed the whole lawn, raked, got out the four-wheeler and the aerator (and looked like a bunch of farmers while we were standing on it for extra weight...!), fertilized, and watered.  We got the big star hung on the west side of the house, pulled weeds, mulched the flower beds, we got the entire shop cleaned up, and we managed to squeeze in some laundry and dishes.

Still on our list of "to-do" is install our motion sensitive lighting around the shop and in the backyard; arrange the Mustang in the shop so we can get our other vehicles inside if it storms; clean up the garden area and plant my strawberry and cucumber plants; buy some hanging baskets for my shepherd's hook; pull some more weeds; pour some more concrete; get the camper out and repair the tire, clean it out, and pack it for this coming weekend; wash the house windows; pay some bills; do our budget for this month; install our landscape lighting; complete the wiring for the new bathroom and new laundry; sheetrock, mud, sand, texture, and paint the new bathroom and laundry; install the new shower, toilet, and vanity; wire some lights;  ugh... you get the point!

We sure got a lot accomplished this weekend, but there is always more to do!  Pictures to come!

I hope your Mother's Day was relaxing, peaceful, and that you were able to enjoy it.

Have a great week --

JB
