An update... FINALLY!

We have been super super busy playing ball these last few weeks. Haley's team is doing a great job, has a new coach, learned signals and all kinds of new things. We have dominated in most games, and played well in ALL of them. Their team has had early morning practices (7am) for most of the season, and they are all excited to be there, remarkably...! Haley has played all over the field this season. She has been shortstop, basemen, fielder, and pitcher as well. Did a ROCKIN job at all of 'em!

Shelby's team has played just as well, and has had some steep competition. She's played all over the field as well. She feels she is most effective in the pitcher's position (we play coach pitch ball at this stage), but she has played alot of 3rd base, as well as others. She's just a natural athlete, and does well with most things, so no worries.

Mr. Spencer is enjoying his new glasses, and playing T-ball is a bit easier now, too. He has had his glasses for a couple of weeks, and is taking really good care of them. He's got one more game this weekend, and pictures, and then he's done with his last T-ball game. We'll be in Minors next year. YAY! He's played the pitcher's position and first base alot, but has experienced play all over the field.

Lots of good ball players at the Blundell house this year!

We have also been busy at the plant. I've taken Mom to Rapid lately a few times for doctor appointments, due to her feet pain. She's had all kinds of tests done, but they can't figure out what is up with her, so we've resorted, with the help of the medical team, to a neurologist, to try to figure something out. MRI results should be back within the week to see if there is anything they can help us with from this angle...! Pray!

We've also had some good news about friends and family having health problems, lately too. The Rickenbach family is rejoicing that Todd's treatment has gone so well. He's been at the Mayo clinic for surgery/radiation/chemo/etc. I believe they are home now, and he's recovering nicely. Things are looking good!

Others, I won't mention any names, but I pray for them every day...

We started tournaments this weekend for the last remaining softball games, so we're finishing up this part of the season.

*sigh......

I say we go camping...! We're headed to Angostura Sunday for a little R&R, but won't get to camp, after all. Let's plan something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you're all having a good summer!
