Facials and Fun
Wow, what a busy weekend. Family in town, so we were back to 4 dogs at the house. Jerami and Jason spent most of the weekend hunting. Jerami was successful and got a really nice sized deer. Jason and Haley, from what I understand, had some opportunities, but the timing just wasn't quite right. We've got more time...
Shelby didn't go along to hunt today, and instead spent the day with me. We made bracelets and necklaces before church, attended and ate a really nice dinner at church, and then attended the auction (again, at the church), where we managed to have a great time donating money to help pay for projects at the church.
We had a few grocery items we needed afterwards, so we picked those things up, and then it was time for some Mary Kay makeovers... We had a great time, and loved meeting some new people. There were probably more than 30 people there, and I just love to be a part of things like that, making lots of ladies smile!! I have to get some photos from some of the friends who attended, cause Shelby "messed up her makeup" and wasn't fixed up well enough when we got home to feel like we could take a suitable picture... It was a lot of fun, and a long overdue treat!!
Finally, we made it back home, and got to hear about Jason's day. They did have a good time hunting, and have some nice places lined up to hunt later in the week.
Tomorrow is studying day...
We're praying for all those who are out hunting, as Shelby so bravely mentioned during the prayers at church today. Be safe!
