Trickling Tuesday
Our light dusting of snow is melting all over the place today, and water is EVERYWHERE. Everyone went from complaining about the snow to playing in the mud!
We are back to rearranging stuff at our house, and we helped my folks do some rearranging over the weekend as well. I just feel the need to get organized, I guess. There are always those tasks that you know need done, but just never make it a priority, and over time, that tends to stress me out. So we're just biting those off one task at a time, and it feels good!! And we will get to show off all our hard work at our Halloween party, too. YAY!
Haley is finishing up her current fundraiser for the Washington DC trip (going in 2012), so if any of you are interested in purchasing tubs of cookie dough, let me know. These come in plastic tubs that yield 96 half-ounce cookies; they will keep 6 months in the freezer, 3 months in the fridge. Super good -- super easy. Prices are $10-$11 per tub, depending on the flavor(s) you choose. Call me or email me, leave me a comment, (whatever works for you) and I'll get ya fixed up.
As of 8:30 last night, we are done facilitating Financial Peace University classes, too.
We had taken the FPU course a couple years ago, and were asked by the church as a graduate to go back and facilitate 5 sessions for current enrollees. We'd spoken in church about our experience with the program, and visited with many folks about our successes thanks to the program. Watching the videos again has been a really nice refresher, and helped us re-assess our goals. If you'd like more information, you can click on the picture above, and it will take you to the website!
So anyways, now we're down to only Wednesday nights away from home. It's getting better!!
I'm hoping the weather gets nicer for a week or two more, also, since we STILL need to get rid of some stuff via another garage sale. I guess if it comes down to it, we may have to rent the 4-H building or something and have it there. We'll see! There's always work to do, it seems!
One more thing: I have to share our bowling shirt funnies with you --
Chadron Concrete is sponsoring our team, called "Priceless" ... so our shirts will say...
Bowling shoes... $1.00
Beer... $2.00
Balls of Cement.... PRICELESS!
