Done!

Jason, working on the first two pads
Dixie and Jason working hard!
So today, we are really glad it's Friday! I'm so thankful that we don't have to go another day this week -- and Jason is literally dragging his feet. He has worked SOOOO hard on this patio project, along with about a million other projects we have going on. He's just worn out! We're going to use this weekend to rest, since we're headed on a family vacation next weekend. We've planned for months to go to Colorado, take the kids to Pike's Peak, the North Pole (amusement park), and a few other things. We can't wait! But meanwhile, we've got to have everything ready -- the grass mowed, laundry finished, etc.,etc., eeeek!
My former neighbors have come down to visit my folks and take them out to lunch. They're sort of my 'surrogate' grandparents. Joe and Shirley have meant a lot to us. When we lived 400 miles from our grandparents, they really assumed that role for us, and were tremendous influences on us. I am so happy that even today, my folks are still doing everything they can to maintain relations with them, years after both families moved off the farms that tied us together. So nice!
Anyhew, I'm off to run more errands -- my life story, lately. We hope you have a wonderful weekend -- check back next week to see the finished project!
Hugs -- Blundells
