A Monday on a Tuesday?

Well, we're here at the plant again. My life story, I guess. The kids are with me today, though, since they're out of school. Haley and Shelby's first softball games of the season are today. One in Martin and one at home. Yikes!

We are still reeling at the news of Jenny's miraculous recovery. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers during this time. She has been moved to a rehabilitation facility with a beautiful room, where physical and occupational therapists continue to work with her 3-4 hours a day. She is walking and talking and eating solid foods again. This is so much more than we had expected merely a week ago. The outlook was definitely much less hopeful! We are sooooooo grateful that things have turned out like they have. She still has a lot of work to do before she can go home, and she'll be on blood thinners for the rest of her life. But at least she is alive to have to take them!!

Anyways, we were grateful for the rain we received yesterday. The forecast for the last 4 days of last week called for rain, but we had beautiful weather, just cloudy. We tilled up the yard, so we needed the rain for our new grass seed to take off quickly.

We hope you had a great weekend -- we've talked to many of our friends who went camping -- poo on you... :-) I wanted to go camping, but didn't want to chance the rainy weather for our first weekend out this year. So we stayed home and had a birthday party! But I was wishing we were in our camper at the lake...!

Not much else going on here today. The kids are setting the table for dinner with the crew, so I'd better go see what I can do to help. Have a great day today!!
