Jenny

I got a call this morning letting us know that Jenny survived the night. They told us late yesterday that if she made it the next 24 hours, there may be hope for a future for her. She made it, but not without dying once in the night. They revived her. She completed her blood thinning treatments around 10pm, and doctors told the family to go in and say their goodbyes shortly after, because it just didn't look good. They did. She opened her eyes about 1am, according to Aunt Lori.

They are only letting one person into her room at a time, and aren't allowing anyone to touch her, for fear that any touching would stimulate brain activity and cause increased swelling. At mid-day yesterday, her brain was so swollen she was losing blood out her nose. It really is a grim outlook.

We are hopeful that her making it through the night (though with a little help) may be a sign that she is trying very hard. Will power, I guess.

Please pray for her and her family, and that she can hang on. Thank you!
