The weekend is over, already?
Well, we didn't do a whole lot this weekend, since the weather was pretty crappy. I'm really dependent on sunshine for my well-being. Needless to say, I'm suffering tremendously!
We played the Wii, made some cookies, and basically just hung out. Too cold and icky outside to do much fun stuff, so we got out the cookbooks, and made some new recipes we hadn't tried before. We made calzones out of pizza dough, among others. All of it was a hit!!
We are making the last few of the plans for Vegas -- the kids are spending a few days with Gma and Gpa Blundell in Denver while we are away. Rumor has it they'll be going to the zoo, a life size aquarium, and a few other goodies. They should have a good time, too!
Not much else here today. Just getting back into the work week, and trying to figure out what special thing Jason and I can do for our anniversary Wednesday. If ya got any ideas of something close to home and cheap, let me know! Leave me a comment or call me!!
Have a good week, y'all!

Hmmm...Wednesday, eh? I guess there's always 1/2 price margarita night at Angela's. LOL But there's also roasting s'mores at Chadron State Park...even if it rains, it's totally romantic. This Friday is open-mic night at Bean Brokers. Or if you could celebrate a day earlier (like a real surprise) the Musis (a Celtic Musical Group from Colorado) will be performing on Tuesday at 7:30pm in Memorial Hall (call 432-6360 for tickets). That would be totally COOL in my book, but I also really like Celtic music. And then there are two art exhibits at the CSC gallery. That might be neat. And it's FREE. :) We are hoping that "The Soloist" will be coming to our theater in the next week or two because we desperately need a date night. It's so hard to get out with really young kiddos, though.
Anyway...whatever you guys do, I hope you have
