Simply beautiful!
WOW! We had a busy day yesterday, but we found out that Grandpa Clay's chest x-ray came back clear. Good news! He's been able to eat a bit in the past few days and keep it down, thanks to an adjustment in his medication. Things are lookin up!
Grandma Leibbrandt is moved into the nursing home again... and plans on being there for a while. Her phone and mail will be forwarded to her at the new place for the time being. She's doing ok, but we sure wish we could be closer to help keep an eye on things for her. It is hard being tied up with work, but I think Mom and Dad might sneak away and spend some time with her over the weekend. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon, and will get to go back home soon!!
We got started on our sidewalk project last night, later than we'd hoped, but got a good start. We'll hopefully get most of the forms put in today so we can pour concrete tomorrow, and be done by the weekend, since it sounds like we could be getting some rain!
Uncle Ron (from Minnesota) is also in town, and his son Ryan and grandson Sam are headed here today to set up camp for turkey hunting. They come in every year for it, and seem to do really well, and it's a good time for all to get together, too! We spent a little time at Uncle Dennis' house visiting with them last night, and finally went to pick up the kids from Grandpas about 10pm.
We're back in the swing of things here at work today -- the golf course is doing some landscaping and we've delivered a couple semi loads of block to them for that project. It should look really nice when they're done. And it's Thursday, so the big crew dinner is today... I can smell Mom's chocolate cake, and it's just not fair. I want to eat the whole thing...!
Shelby has a soccer game at 6:30 tonight, so come on over if you're out and about. They only take about an hour, and she made the only goal during the last game, and I MISSED IT! I was signing our girls up for softball, and MISSED IT! Anyways, come on out and watch -- bring a chair or two!
Hope to see you there! Have a great day!
