Rainy day activities...

We got one wall of the concrete plant painted yesterday, and had to reassemble everything, because Dad didn't want a mess for the guests that come eat with us on Thursdays. He even put the trim up around the windows, too, so that looks nice! If all goes well, this afternoon, we'll paint the opposite wall, and maybe finish the rest tomorrow. Not a lot of concrete going anywhere -- it's warm enough, but too wet! So the crew is playing mechanics and janitors, and might do a little work in the block plant. Rainy days are a really good time to get some little things caught up!

Mom and Dad Leibbrandt gave us their basketball hoop from the plant to place at our house. We took it home, set it up, and the kids were playing as long as we'd let them. It really cooled off in the early evening, and the wind came up. We're supposed to have rain all day, and then around midnight, it's supposed to start snowing! And rain all day Saturday, too!

Sunday will be a nice day, tho. Sounds like we're supposed to be around 60 degrees again! YAY!

We have a couple coming to look at our white pickup either tonight or tomorrow -- please pray that they buy it -- we've got places for that money to go -- and one place is our upcoming trip to Vegas...! YAY!

Lots of good things going on -- hope you have the same. We're grateful for the moisture -- we really need to get our grass going in our yard!!

Have a good Thursday, and enjoy your time inside!

Come to the Arts Center this coming Sunday at 3pm and listen to Shelby and her TrebleMakers Community Choir (as well as the adult Community Choir). It will be fantastic! We'd love to see you there -- call us and let us know you're coming and we'll save you a seat -- they go quickly!

TTYL!
