Digging out!
The kids had a great time playing on the mound of snow Jason made for them with the loader. Plans are to make a mustang out of the snow, so he tried to gather as much of the snow at our house as possible. They have really had a good time playing outside, since it's rather warm for having so much snow on the ground. It was about 30 degrees, so bundled up with all our snow gear, it was just right!
It was getting a little dark when I took the videos and photos, so I apologize if they are a little difficult to see, but you can clearly hear the giggles and sounds from the kids playing!
We are slowly digging out today. In front of the plant when I arrived this morning was a 4 foot deep drift, probably 30 feet long and 20 feet wide. And the snow on the street coming in here is over 10 feet tall! It's unbelieveable.
Some friends of ours made eggs out of the snow, and painted them up.
It is so cool to see all the things we can come up with when we're given the gift of a wonderful snow, and a day off to enjoy it with our family!
Here's one more video of the kids having a good time playing with Daddy and Laney in the snow.We hope you are all able to dig yourselves out of the snow and get out and about again. Heaven knows 2 snow days in a row can cause a bit of cabin fever... Especially when this is snowstorm number 3 or 4 in about 2 weeks!
Stay warm today, and play in the snow while it lasts!! Have a good afternoon!
